Mumbai, Oct 30: Spectrum Talent Management today announced the appointment of Amit Patkar as General Manager – Business Head, IT. Based at the company’s Mumbai office, he will report administratively to Atanu Banerjee, Chief Executive Officer, Spectrum Talent Management, and lead the strategic development, growth and profitability of the IT business.
Amit brings over 26 years of global experience across cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT operations, digital transformation and enterprise technology. His expertise spans building and scaling technology businesses, managing large-scale digital infrastructure programmes, and driving cloud transformation, managed services and operational excellence.
Before joining Spectrum Talent Management, he served as Head – Partnership at Writer Information, where he played a key role in building and scaling the company’s cloud, infrastructure, security, FinOps and corporate digital IT business. He also drove the expansion of managed services, with a focus on cost optimisation through cloud transformation and FinOps initiatives.
Throughout his career, Amit has held leadership positions at NPCI, IFTAS, Ingersoll Rand and Patni India, gaining extensive experience across technology, infrastructure, managed services and digital transformation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Mumbai University and professional certifications in TOGAF, ITIL Expert and Cisco CCNA.
His key priorities will include driving business growth and profitability, strengthening revenue, EBITDA and margin performance, and expanding the company’s technology offerings across emerging capabilities such as DevOps, FinOps and SecOps. He will also focus on fostering innovation, enhancing the competitiveness of IT services, strengthening data security and cloud adoption, and ensuring operational excellence, compliance and effective risk management.
