Mumbai, Sep 18: QMS Medical Allied Services Ltd has completed the 100 percentage acquisition of Saarathi Healthcare Pvt Ltd, making it a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. The move marks an important step in QMS MAS’s strategy to build an integrated healthcare services platform spanning patient screening, early diagnosis, disease management and patient engagement.
QMS MAS began its acquisition journey with Saarathi Healthcare in June 2024 with a 51% stake, which was subsequently increased to 76% in October 2025. With the acquisition of the remaining 24% stake, QMS MAS now holds 100% ownership of Saarathi Healthcare.
The complete acquisition will significantly boost QMS MAS’s services portfolio and further strengthen its presence in the healthcare services and patient management segment. QMS MAS specialises in patient screening services through innovative Patient Service Programs and the supply of diagnostic medical devices, enabling access to advanced diagnostic testing and supporting early intervention and preventive healthcare.
Saarathi Healthcare brings complementary capabilities across disease management, early diagnosis and screening through point-of-care devices, disease awareness and access programmes across therapies. Its model combines digital tools with physical patient engagement, enabling healthcare programmes across different stages of the patient journey.
Commenting on the acquisition, Mr Mahesh Makhija, CMD, QMS Medical Allied Services Ltd, said,
“The 100% acquisition of Saarathi Healthcare marks an important milestone in our journey towards building a comprehensive and integrated healthcare services platform. By bringing together QMS MAS’s strengths in patient screening and diagnostics with Saarathi’s capabilities in disease management and patient engagement, we aim to provide a more connected continuum of care. Full ownership will enable us to drive deeper integration, strengthen operational synergies and create greater value for patients, healthcare partners and stakeholders.”
As part of the transaction, QMS MAS acquired the balance 24% equity stake comprising 1,98,000 shares for a cash consideration of ₹14.225 crore, increasing its shareholding in Saarathi Healthcare from 76% to 100%.
The 100% acquisition of Saarathi Healthcare further strengthens QMS MAS’s broader strategy of building an integrated healthcare platform spanning early detection, patient screening, disease management and sustained patient engagement.
The development also comes amid a period of accelerated growth for QMS MAS. In June 2026, the company migrated to the NSE Mainboard, while more recently it entered into a five-year exclusive agreement with Germany-based HEINE Optotechnik for the marketing and distribution of its primary diagnostic instruments in India. With a scalable product vertical and a growing healthcare services portfolio as its two key growth engines, QMS MAS has set an ambitious target of surpassing the ₹500 crore revenue milestone by FY29.
