New Delhi, July 17: President Droupadi Murmu will embark on an official visit to Moldova, North Macedonia and Romania from July 19 to 25, with the aim of strengthening India’s diplomatic relations and expanding cooperation with the three European nations.
During the visit, President Murmu is scheduled to hold discussions with the leadership of the respective countries on a range of bilateral, regional and global issues. The talks are expected to focus on enhancing cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, education, culture and people-to-people exchanges.
The visit is expected to provide fresh momentum to India’s engagement with Europe and create opportunities for deeper collaboration across multiple sectors, including technology, economic development and sustainable growth.
Officials highlighted that the tour reflects India’s continued efforts to strengthen partnerships through dialogue, mutual cooperation and shared development goals.
