New Delhi, August 17: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam highlighting the importance of collective resolve, unity of minds and mutual cooperation in driving the country's progress and societal well-being.
Sharing the verse on X, the Prime Minister said that the power of collective resolve and unity is essential for the nation's advancement and prosperity.
The Prime Minister wrote:
“सामूहिक संकल्प और एकता की शक्ति से ही देश आगे बढ़ता है। यही भावना भारत की प्रगति और समृद्धि की मजबूत नींव है।”
He also shared the Sanskrit verse:
“समानी व आकूतिः समाना हृदयानि वः।
समानमस्तु वो मनो यथा वः सुसहासति॥”
The verse conveys the message that collective aspirations and a sense of unity among people can help society move forward through mutual cooperation and equal treatment.
The Prime Minister's message emphasised that national development is strengthened when people work together with shared objectives and a common sense of purpose.
The Sanskrit Subhashitam underscores the broader idea that social harmony, cooperation and collective action are important foundations for sustained progress and prosperity.
