Gujarat Inject Kerala’s Renewable Energy Push Puts It on Investors’ Radar

NewsK Puspa13 Aug 2026

Aug 13: India's renewable energy sector is witnessing robust growth, driven by rising electricity demand, favourable government policies and increasing investments in solar and clean energy infrastructure. As India accelerates its transition towards sustainable energy, companies strengthening their presence in the renewable energy ecosystem are attracting growing investor interest.

Among them, Gujarat Inject Kerala Ltd, which is in the process of rebranding as Regenova Renewtech Limited, has been steadily transforming its business with a strategic focus on renewable energy, solar power and energy distribution. The proposed name change reflects the company's long-term vision of establishing itself as a significant player in India's clean energy landscape.

Strong Financial Performance Fuels Optimism

The company's latest financial performance has strengthened the market interest. During Q1 FY27, revenue from operations grew more than five times compared with the corresponding quarter last year, while profit after tax also recorded significant growth.

Recent Solar Orders Strengthen Growth Pipeline

Gujarat Inject Kerala Ltd has recently secured multiple domestic purchase orders for solar modules, adding to its renewable energy business momentum.

In June 2026, the company announced that it had received a purchase order from Deon Energy Limited for 16,129 solar panels of 620 Wp, with a total value of approximately ₹14.49 crore.

In the same month, GIKL announced another purchase order from Ottire Lifestyle Private Limited for 1,334 solar PV modules of 600 Wp, valued at approximately ₹1.07 crore. Together, the two disclosed orders are valued at approximately ₹15.56 crore, covering more than 17,400 solar modules.

Reflecting on the company's long-term strategy, the spokesperson of GIKL said earlier at the time of announcing the results,

"Our transition towards renewable energy reflects our long-term vision of building a sustainable and future-ready business. With a strong focus on execution, strategic expansion, and innovation, we are committed to strengthening our renewable energy portfolio and creating long-term value for our shareholders while contributing to India's clean energy goals."

Share Price in Focus

Gujarat Inject Kerala Ltd is currently trading at around ₹11.57 per share, a 30% upside would imply a potential price level of around ₹14.30, although this should be viewed as a market expectation rather than a guaranteed target.

An analyst with over two decades of experience expressed a positive view on the stock, stating,

"Gujarat Inject Kerala Ltd's transition towards renewable energy comes at a time when India's clean energy sector is witnessing structural growth. The company's strong financial performance, expanding renewable energy business and growing project pipeline have increased investor interest. If the company continues to execute its strategy effectively and secures additional orders, the stock has the potential to deliver meaningful upside from current levels over the medium term."

Outlook

India's renewable energy market remains one of the fastest growing sectors over the next decade, by government initiatives, rising investments and increasing demand for clean power. Against this backdrop, Gujarat Inject Kerala Ltd's transition into renewable energy, improving financial performance, expanding project pipeline and strategic growth initiatives position it as an emerging company to watch. The company appears well-positioned to capitalise on India's energy transition. If it continues to execute its growth strategy effectively and convert opportunities into sustainable business growth, market experts believe the company could unlock significant long-term value for shareholders.
