26th October 2026: Delhi Toofans have finalised their 14-player squad and support staff for the fifth season of the Prime Volleyball League (PVL), scheduled to commence on November 30, 2026. The franchise, owned by Resolute Sports, will enter the upcoming season with a mix of Indian and international players across key positions, supported by a specialist team led by Head Coach Fabio Menta.

The squad features players from India, Serbia, Australia and Canada, bringing together talent across the outside hitter, opposite, middle blocker, setter, libero and blocker positions. With the roster now complete, the team will focus on building combinations, sharpening its tactical approach and strengthening coordination across the court ahead of the tournament.

Delhi Toofans’ squad includes George Antony, Deepak Kumar M, Amadou Laye Samb and Sheik Numan as outside hitters; Abhishek Rajeev and Yoan David as opposites; Pravin P, Muhammed Jasim and James Weir as middle blockers; Lal Sujan M V and Muhammed Shamil O K as setters; Anand and Aljo Sabu as liberos; and Sachin K as a blocker.

Alok Sanghi, Chairman, Resolute Sports, said: “Finalising the squad marks an important milestone in our preparations for the upcoming season. With volleyball gaining greater recognition and professional opportunities in India, there is growing potential to take the sport to a wider audience and create more pathways for players. We have brought together a balanced group of Indian and international talent, supported by a dedicated coaching and performance team, with the aim of building a cohesive and competitive unit. We look forward to playing our part in to the continued growth of volleyball in the country.”

Sai Prakash K, CEO, Resolute Sports said, “Our focus this season is on building a well-rounded team environment that supports performance, collaboration and player development. Finalising the squad and support staff allows us to move into the next phase of preparations with greater clarity on our approach and priorities. We aim to strengthen Delhi Toofans’ identity within the league and deliver a campaign that our players, partners and supporters can take pride in.”

The team will be led by Italian coach Fabio Menta, whose appointment was announced in September this year. Menta brings more than two decades of experience across professional clubs, national teams and international development programmes in Europe, Asia and Oceania. The support staff includes Assistant Coach V V Jayakumar, Technical Director Shailen Ramdoo, Analyst Jitendra Kumar, Physiotherapist Joshua Bruce and Strength and Conditioning Coach Amal Manohar.

Fabio Menta, Head Coach, Delhi Toofans, said: “The team has already demonstrated its potential by reaching the Prime Volleyball League final in its debut season, giving us a strong foundation to build upon. With the squad now in place, our priority is to bring the players together around a clear playing philosophy and a shared ambition. The combination of Indian and international talent offers an opportunity to learn from different playing styles and experiences. We will focus on tactical discipline, communication, physical preparation and consistency to ensure that individual strengths translate into collective performance on the court.”

Delhi Toofans made an early impact in the Prime Volleyball League by reaching the final in their debut season in 2024, finishing as runners-up. As the league enters its fifth season, now recognised by the FIVB as India’s top-tier professional volleyball league, the franchise will look to build on that campaign and strengthen its competitive standing.

With the full squad and support staff confirmed, Delhi Toofans will now turn their attention to preparations for the new season.
