New Delhi, Sep 01: Uttarakhand’s pride, Anubha Vashisth Chaudhary, Miss Universe Uttarakhand 2026 and Fourth Runner-Up at Miss Universe India 2026, received a warm welcome in New Delhi on August 31 following her remarkable achievement at the national pageant. Anubha was welcomed by her family, supporters and well-wishers at 6:00 PM at Terminal 1, Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, marking a celebratory homecoming after her successful pageant journey.
Anubha secured a place among the Top 5 finalists at Miss Universe India 2026, held on August 23 at Zee Studios in Jaipur. Representing Uttarakhand, she competed alongside contestants from across the country and stood out with her confidence, communication skills, personality and stage presence. Her Fourth Runner-Up finish marked a significant milestone in her pageant journey and placed her among the leading finalists of the national competition.
The achievement is particularly significant as Anubha’s journey with Miss Universe India has been one of persistence, determination and growth. She previously participated in Miss Universe India 2024, where she made it to the Top 20. Returning to the competition in 2026, she went a step further, progressing into the Top 5 and ultimately securing the Fourth Runner-Up position. Earlier this year, she won the Miss Universe Uttarakhand 2026 title, earning the opportunity to represent her state at the national level.
A model and professional makeup educator, Anubha has pursued her interests across fashion, beauty, art and culture. Her journey has also remained closely connected to Uttarakhand, with the beauty queen keen to bring greater attention to the state’s rich cultural heritage, values and identity through her national platform. Following her state-level victory, she was also felicitated by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
