Mumbai, July 8 : Sony BBC Earth, India’s destination for premium factual entertainment, invites audiences into the heart of Africa’s wild with the premiere of Kingdom, an extraordinary wildlife drama chronicling the emotional real-life stories of four charismatic animal families living in Zambia’s Luangwa Valley. The six part series premieres on 20th July 2026 and will air Monday to Saturday at 1 PM and 9 PM, only on Sony BBC Earth.

At the centre of the story is a mother leopard and her growing cubs as they navigate the dangers of the wild, while a wild dog queen rises to power against all odds. The series also follows hyenas whose clan battles for dominance while revealing surprising moments of gentleness and loyalty. Meanwhile, a lioness and her inexperienced pride strive to reclaim the control their ancestors once held over the valley.
With cinematic storytelling and unprecedented access to the lives of these animals, Kingdom showcases the raw emotion, intelligence, and resilience that define the natural world. Set against the stunning backdrop of Zambia’s Luangwa Valley, the series delivers a gripping narrative that blurs the line between wildlife documentary and epic drama.
Over the years, Sony BBC Earth has brought audiences globally acclaimed and visually stunning stories that celebrate the wonders of the planet. Kingdom continues this legacy with an immersive viewing experience that captures the beauty, unpredictability, and emotional depth of life in the wild.
