Bengaluru, 05th November 2026: Mohalla Tech, India’s largest homegrown social media company which operates ShareChat, Moj & Quick TV, today announced its audited results for FY26, reporting a 40% year-on-year increase in operating revenue to ₹1,016 crore, up from ₹723 crore in FY25.

While revenue grew substantially in FY26, growth accelerated further in FY27, reaching an ARR of over ₹1,500 crore by the end of first half. The company expects to close FY27 with its first ever fully profitable year at an EBITDA of almost ₹25 Cr.

In FY26, building on its cost discipline of previous years, EBITDA losses narrowed by 58% to ₹91 crore from ₹219 crore, while the company added new revenue streams. The growth was led by the company’s diversification into micro dramas, which the company monetizes dually through advertising and subscriptions, adding a third major revenue stream alongside its existing advertising and live streaming channels. Subscription revenue, driven by its micro-drama app QuickTV and through Moj+, contributed ₹293 crore in its first full year.

While subscription revenues propelled the growth in FY26, the advertising business has been regaining momentum, with Q2 FY27 ad revenue up 40% year-on-year and expected to accelerate further during the festive season. Powering this rise in ad revenues is the rapid scaling of micro drama consumption on Moj and ShareChat. Daily micro drama consumption grew 6.5x in 12 months to over 1 billion a day, creating a rapidly expanding pool of monetizable inventory.

The company subsequently turned EBITDA positive in Q1 FY27 and continued to strengthen its revenue growth. By the end of the first half of FY27, Mohalla Tech has successfully delivered 4 consecutive quarters of positive cash flows and has been generating positive EBITDA for 2 quarters in a row.

“After a few years of strategic discipline, we have turned the corner in our path to profitability. A year ago, we had achieved the mission of building a sustainable core business and were shifting gears to accelerate growth. Now, we are EBITDA positive, generating cash, and funding the next phase of growth entirely from our own cash flows,” said Ankush Sachdeva, Co-founder and CEO, Mohalla Tech.

Manohar Charan, Co-Founder & CFO, Mohalla Tech added, “Micro drama has proven to be a powerful growth engine for us. Our large audience base, sophisticated content recommendation system and a proprietary ad-tech stack puts us at a unique advantage, making us the only player capable of running a dual monetization strategy of offering both AVOD and SVOD micro drama experience. Our ads business in particular gained strong momentum during the last couple of quarters, and we expect it to pick up further in the upcoming festive months. Most importantly, we’re continuously improving profit margins while maintaining a strong revenue growth trajectory.”

Free-to-watch and ad-supported micro drama has also widened the company’s advertiser base, giving brands that usually buy premium video slots on OTT platforms access to a mass, multilingual audience across ShareChat and Moj. With more than 200 million monetizable users, the company remains focused on sustaining its revenue momentum while expanding profitability.
