New Delhi, October 30, 2026: Mayfair Spring Valley Resort hosted singer Lucky Ali during his visit to Guwahati for BURPP Festival 2026, held on October 10–11 at Sarusajai Stadium. The festival brought live music audiences to the city, reflecting the growing role of large-scale events in Assam’s tourism landscape.
Assam is targeting over ₹700 crore in cumulative economic impact from its concert economy over five years, with live events expected to generate activity across hospitality, food and beverage, transport and tourism. For Guwahati, such events offer an opportunity to attract visitors and encourage them to explore the city’s local cuisine and cultural experiences.
With 260 rooms, cottages and villas, Mayfair Spring Valley Resort caters to leisure travellers, business visitors and large-format gatherings. In July 2026, the property hosted the two-day BRICS Heads of Anti-Drug Agencies Meeting, organised by the Narcotics Control Bureau under India’s BRICS Presidency, accommodating international delegates and facilitating the official sessions
The resort’s association with BURPP Festival reflects the growing connection between live entertainment and hospitality in Guwahati. As the city attracts visitors for major events, Mayfair Spring Valley Resort offers a base for travellers to experience the destination’s local cuisine, culture and leisure offerings beyond the concert venue.
