Oct 28: Sawadee kha, Aerocity. On 18 October 2026, Nara Thai, the Michelin-recognised restaurant from Bangkok, opens at Worldmark 6, its second outlet in Delhi NCR and fourth in India, following the Gurugram debut that marked its first location in North India. Nara Thai India is brought to the country by Aditya Birla New Age Hospitality, the hospitality arm of the Aditya Birla Group.
Founded in Bangkok in 2003, Nara Thai has earned acclaim well beyond Thailand, and the restaurant is now loved in cities around the world. Its philosophy is a simple one: humble ingredients, prepared with care and respect, can become extraordinary dishes, and every plate stays true to its origins. That belief comes from founders Yuki and Jean, and Chef JC ensures it is upheld in every kitchen, keeping the brand's culinary standards consistent from Bangkok to Delhi. For guests in Aerocity, that means dining that is as much an exploration of Thailand's culinary traditions as it is a meal.
The menu brings together the five essential flavours of Thai cooking, sweet, sour, spicy, salty and umami, in dishes made to be shared. Tom Yum Soup, Som Tam, Pad Thai and Massaman Curry are the signatures to look forward to, each carrying the balance and depth that Bangkok kitchens are known for. Behind them are Nara Thai's own curry pastes and sauces, made in Thailand and sent to its restaurants around the world, so the flavours guests know from Bangkok arrive intact in Delhi. Fresh herbs and aromatics such as sweet basil and lemongrass are sourced in India where they suit the dish, and extensive vegetarian options are tailored for Indian diners. Seasonal menus and limited-time culinary experiences will be introduced from time to time, giving regulars something new to return for.
The bar follows the same thinking. Signature cocktails such as Tom Yum Twist, La Capilla, Bangkok Burn, Pattaya Fizz, Nara Old Fashioned, Pandan & Coconut, Thai Green Curry, Mai Tai and Picante are designed to sit alongside the food, from the first round at the table to the last order of the evening.
Warm Thai hospitality is the other half of the Nara Thai experience, and it begins at the door with a welcome that makes every guest feel looked after. In Aerocity, that welcome meets one of Delhi's most international dining audiences. The district's hotels, offices and constant flow of travellers make it a natural home for a Bangkok-born brand that has always welcomed guests from many places, and for diners who expect consistency, polish and a sense of occasion.
Speaking on the launch, Udai Pinnali, CEO, Aditya Birla New Age Hospitality, said,
"The response to Nara Thai in Gurugram showed us how much Delhi NCR appreciates authentic Thai cooking. Aerocity, with its international and business audience, is a natural next home for the brand, and we are delighted to bring Nara Thai's food and hospitality to it."
Nara Thai Aerocity is open daily from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM and seats 72 guests, with 48 covers indoors and 24 in the alfresco area, along with a dedicated group dining space. It works as easily for a business lunch between meetings or a celebratory dinner as it does for a late evening with friends, which suits the rhythm of Aerocity, from day to night.
