National, 26th Feb 2024- Beautywise, a rising name in the dermatological and beauty supplement segment, proudly announces the successful closure of its first funding round, securing a substantial INR 6.5 Crores. The brand has already demonstrated its market success, with products available in over 500 pharmacies and endorsed by more than 150 Skin Clinics across India.

The round was led by AC Ventures and co-led by Fluid Ventures, Real Time Angel Fund (RTAF) and GSF. The round also saw participation from LetsVenture Angel Fund and witnessed robust participation from a distinguished group of marquee investors. Notable contributors include Dinesh Agarwal, Founder of Indiamart; Murugavel Janakiraman, Founder of Bharat Matrimony; Akshay Ghulati, Co-Founder, Shiprocket; Chakradhar Gade, Co-Founder & CEO, Country Delight; Agam Khare, Founder & CEO Absolute; Arjun Vaidya, Co-Founder, V3 Ventures & Founder of Dr. Vaidya’s (acquired); Sandeep Kohli, Ex MD Yum! Foods; Bharat Kalia, Co-Founder, Lifelong; Nitin Gupta, founder & CEO Ethera; Siddhartha Pahwa, Founding Member Ocimum partners & ex CEO Meru Cabs; Agastya Dalmia and Aman Arora, Directors at Keventers

The company also saw a strategic investment by Associated Capsule Group (ACG), a leading provider of integrated solutions for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries, to accelerate Beautywise’s vision.

The deal structuring was skillfully handled by Capinity Partners, ensuring a smooth and strategic infusion of funds.

The funds will be used in introducing revolutionary products that redefine beauty and wellness, team expansion and to solidify Beautywise’s presence in the global market. It’s worth mentioning that Beautywise was honoured with the Estée Lauder Beauty & You award in November 2023.

This funding will also allow Beautywise to move forward in retail marketing strategy that will align closely with the anticipated growth in Beauty Retail, Aesthetic Dermatology Clinics, and premium salons, alongside the booming online sales of supplements. Notably, the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) sector is showing promising figures, prompting them to explore the development of a Business-to-Direct-to-Consumer (B2D2C) platform. This innovative approach will facilitate the onboarding of dermatologists, nutritionists, and beauty professionals, providing them with various benefits to enhance their offerings and better serve their consumers. The company will also utilise the funding to expand their presence in USA, Middle East and European markets.
