Kolkata, 18th December, 2024: The Prasanta Banerji Homeopathic Research Clinic (PBHRC) hosted the second edition of CareNival, a heartfelt initiative dedicated to celebrating and supporting children with special needs. Spearheaded by Dr. Isha Banerji, Director and Senior Practitioner of PBHRC, this one-of-a-kind event fostered a vibrant, inclusive environment for children and their families, offering a day filled with joy, excitement, and meaningful connections.

The event was graced by notable guests, including His Excellency Mr. Didier Talpain, Consul General of France in Kolkata, Her Excellency, Ms. Smita Bajoria, Consul General Of Denmark In Kolkata, Ms. Koneenica Banerjee, renowned actress, Ms. Richa Sharma, actress and Mrs. India Universe 2011 and Dr. Isha Banerji, Director and Senior Practitioner, PBHRC.

Throughout the day, attendees were treated to a wide range of activities, each designed with inclusivity in mind. Children enthusiastically participated in performances, ranging from singing and dancing to sharing other creative expressions. This encouraged self-expression and helped build confidence in a supportive environment. Alongside the performances, thoughtfully curated game stalls offered engaging, fun-filled activities that catered to children of all abilities, ensuring inclusiveness. The warm and festive atmosphere was further enriched by thoughtfully selected gifts, which were distributed to the children, spreading joy and leaving them with cherished mementos of the event.

In addition to the celebrations, PBHRC’s team of healthcare professionals offered complimentary health check-ups to the children, providing essential health assessments and offering guidance on long term wellbeing. This initiative was part of the clinic’s ongoing efforts to ensure that children with special needs receive the necessary medical attention in an accessible and compassionate setting

This second edition of CareNival not only highlighted the unique talents of children with special needs but also strengthened community bonds, creating a safe space where families could connect, celebrate and support one another. The event exemplified PBHRC’s ongoing commitment to health, inclusion and empowerment.
