17th June 2024- Milan Fashion Week, known as one of the world’s most prestigious and influential fashion events, broke the mould on Friday taking place in Milan, Italy, by opening with two co-ed collections, signalling a shift away from the old calendar rules. The week, featuring just 20 runway shows provides ample opportunity for reflection on the future direction of fashion.
Moschino kicked off the event with a vibrant show that combined menswear for next summer and women’s 2025 resort wear. This was followed by Canadian fashion house Dsquared2, which presented a full menswear and womenswear collection.
Adding to the excitement, Bang Chan of the K-pop group Stray Kids made a dazzling debut at Milan Fashion Week on June 15. The singer attended Fendi’s Spring/Summer 2025 show, sharing the front row with A-listers like Nicholas Galitzine, Ren Meguro, and Marco Mengoni. This marked Bang Chan’s first solo appearance at a major fashion week event, further elevating the star power at Milan Fashion Week.
