EV India Expo 2024 Powering the Future with Conference theme EV future of transport and IEFVA Awards”

Greater Noida, 20th November 2024: On the second day of EV India Expo 2024, the show pulled decent visitors and business associates from all over the globe. Today Around 10,000 visitors including National and International delegates and associates addressed the event. The special guest for today to highlight the show was Mr Naresh bansal, Member of Parliament, India. He took a round of the exhibition and interacted with the exhibitors and visitors.

According to Mr Swadesh Kumar “Since electric vehicles have a lower cost of operations, India is a very unique market as it is easy to attract fleet operators, public transportation and shared mobility platforms. The goal is now to come on par with China, the USA and of Japan in terms of the manufacturing and sales of passenger and commercial electric vehicles. The electric vehicle market expected to grow at CAGR of 43.13% between 2019 and 2030.

According to Mr Naresh Bansal, “India is still tackling with various challenges in sof range anxiety,high prices of electric vehicles, elect four- wheelers), battery manufacturing capabilities, electric demand and lack of charging stations, among others. Government has been pushing the Ev industry to the best of the efforts. It cannot be denied that government funding, subsidy and incentives have helped fuel the demand of EVs in the market.”

According to Telugu Actress Ms. Pragya Nayan , “such exhibitions brings unique opportunities with EV in reducing the Carbon footprint, dependence on Crude oil imports, creating jobs and building a new technology huh in India. Such factors are combining to make India’s electric vehicle (EV) market ripe for growth in the near future”.

The expo, apart from the exciting exhibition, is featuring specially curated knowledge conference on theme – International seminar on Type test and safety standard. The conference was organized by international federation of electric vehicle association and Green society of India. It was comprised of power-packed round table discussions on various topics like Battery AIS standards and safety, Business perspectives on EV: Adoption Challenges and understanding consumer psychology and EV charger infrastructure – opportunity, challenges and government policies etc.

The chief guest for the conference is Shri Manish Verma district magistrate, Gautam Budh nagar, UP. The key speakers are Mr Ramesh Babu, Ev insurance Turtlemint, Dr. Rajeshwari narendran,Director NTPC Noida, Dr. Ravi Shekhar, Central Board research institute delhi. The conference was ended with IFEVA International EV awards. The jury of EV association, EV experts from the industry and many other industry consultants selected few glorious leaders from Electric vehicle industry as an awardees for the day. Chief guest for the award show, Ms. Pragya Nayan, famous Telugu actress awarded EV charger manufacturer of the year to Tata Motors, Ev charger supplier of the year – SERVOTEC, Bike of the year – Revolt, Ev car of the year – Tata Nexon, EV bus of the year – Tata, EV women entrepreneur of the year – Alka pandey.
