Key Features of the SurePress L-6534VW:
- PrecisionCore® Linehead: Enables high-speed, single-pass printing to deliver amazing output quality and durability; digital monitoring system maintains high productivity using Nozzle Verification Technology to automatically manage inkjet nozzles.
- Versatile Substrate Support: SurePress L-6534VW can print on film and paper label substrates, supported by Epson UV ink technology for a wide range of standard flex materials and substrates from adhesive paper and film to single-layer papers, with thicknesses ranging from 80-320 microns. Its corona treater and UV lamp enable printing on heat-sensitive substrates, such as PE and shrink film.
- High-Quality Output: Powered by PrecisionCore TFP linehead technology for superior image quality.
- High-Productivity: The L-6534VW features the PrecisionCore linehead, which delivers high-speed printing with up to 600 x 1200 dpi resolution. By using Epson’s Variable Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT), the press can produce ultra-sharp definitions with droplets as small as 3.2pl, ensuring stunning gradation and grayscale reproduction.
This label printer also minimizes wastage with a short substrate path and reverse feeding function. Nozzle Verification Technology (NVT) detects blocked nozzles and automatically performs head cleaning, ensuring uninterrupted productivity.
- High-Opacity White Ink: Utilizes Epson’s white ink on metallic and clear substrates, ensuring vibrant prints.
- UV LED Pinning: Enhances image sharpness and minimizes dot spread for smoother gradients and text.
- In-Line Digital Varnish: Offers gloss or matte effects, printed either overall or as a pattern or spot varnish.
- Print Monitoring: The Epson Remote Monitoring System (ERMS) allows engineers to provide remote diagnostics of print performance.
- Multiple Speed Modes: L-6534VW offers multiple print speed modes: Productivity Mode (50m/min), Standard Mode (30m/min), High Density Mode (15m/min), and Reverse White Mode (7.6m/min)
- Stable Operation and Easy Maintenance: The press automatically cleans and checks the printhead function using Nozzle Verification Technology (NVT), ensuring seamless operation with minimal operator intervention. The L-6534VW is also equipped with a drum platen for precise web feeding, maintaining accurate color registration and high-quality ink placement.
- Compliance and Durability: SurePress L-6534VW’s inks are fully compliant with the European Framework Regulation (EC No. 1935/2004) for Food Contact Materials (FCM), making it suitable for the food and beverage sector. The press also delivers the durability required for outdoor and industrial environments, with BS5609, UL969, and CSA certifications.
