16/07/2024- Celebrity stylist Anaita Shroff Adjania selected an ivory Sabyasachi lehenga for Isha Ambani, making it lit at the grand Ambani wedding reception. Inspired by JG Ballard’s The Garden Of Time, which also influenced this year’s Met Gala theme, the lehenga showcased a blend of intricate artistry and elegant design.
The Sabyasachi lehenga featured a cropped blouse adorned with elaborate floral embroidery, crafted using threadwork, sequins, and precious pearls. The design included a plunging neckline, full-length sleeves, and a cropped hem, enhancing its sophisticated appeal. Isha paired the blouse with a striking lehenga skirt, which was the highlight of her ensemble.
The A-line lehenga boasted a high-rise waist, maximum flare, and a floor-length hem. However, the hand-embroidered roses, Resham embroidery, leaf-shaped embellishments, and beadwork that created the illusion of fruits were the true show-stoppers. The embroidery combined to evoke the image of a lush garden. Completing the look, Isha draped a delicate georgette dupatta embellished with tassels over her arms.
To complement the exquisite couture, Isha is accessorized with diamond and pearl jewellery. She wore a luxurious layered necklace, a maang tikka, statement-making bangles, and large diamond rings. For her glam look, she chose darkened brows, smoky eyes highlighted with kohl, caramel-coloured lips, rouge on her cheeks, highlighter on her contours, mascara-adorned lashes, and centre-parted loose waves.
Isha Ambani, the eldest daughter of Nita and Mukesh Ambani, has always been a fashion icon. Her siblings, Akash and Anant Ambani, also make headlines, with Anant recently marrying Radhika Merchant and Isha herself married to Anand Piramal.
