University of Nebraska–Lincoln Students Win Multiple Creative Nebraska Awards at AAF ADDYs

Students from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln have earned top honours at the prestigious Creative Nebraska Awards, hosted by the American Advertising Federation’s Nebraska chapter, recognizing excellence in creative advertising and design.

Also known as the ADDY Awards, the competition celebrates outstanding work across two divisions—professional and student—judged by industry experts. The local awards serve as the first step toward qualification for the national AAF competition.

This year, University of Nebraska–Lincoln students secured an impressive seven gold awards and ten silver awards, including a judge’s citation, highlighting their creativity and innovation across multiple disciplines.

The award-winning students represent both the College of Journalism and Mass Communications and the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts, with majors spanning advertising, public relations, and graphic design.

  • Tiffany Nguyen (Lincoln) – Two Gold Awards for “Flip It” and “Ways Gen Z Survives the Chaos”

  • Natalie Allrich (Papillion) – Gold, App Design for “Witches Wayfinder”

  • Abigail Bubak (Imperial) – Two Silver Awards for “Cadian”

Path to National Recognition
