KIIT World School

Gurugram: KIIT World School in Gurugram celebrated Janmashtami with great joy and multiple cultural and religious activities. The purpose of the event was to introduce students to Indian customs and culture.

The festivities started with a morning prayer and a student-performed drama that told the story of Lord Krishna’s life. A “Matki Phod” competition, singing, and captivating “Dahi Handi” activities were among the other highlights of the celebrations. Parents, teachers, and students all joyfully and actively engaged in these activities.

Principal Neelima Kamrah stated the importance of the occasion by saying, “Janmashtami reminds us of the teachings and ideals of Lord Krishna.” The goal of our school is to connect kids with our cultural history in addition to empowering them academically. We want to promote in our kids a sense of morality, harmony, and love for one another through these activities.”

Parents in attendance acknowledged the youngsters’ talents and the school’s efforts. Everyone took part in the “Aarti” and “Prasad” distribution at the end of the program, celebrating the auspicious occasion.
