Ray-Ban Desert Oasis Stage
This year at Magnetic Fields, The Ray-Ban Desert Oasis Stage is the ultimate destination for fans of pulsating, four-on-the-floor beats, creating a high-energy atmosphere from the get-go. The stage kicks off on Friday with the eclectic sounds of Digging in India & Friends, featuring selectors Nishant Mittal, Ani Phoebe and Lapgan.
On Saturday afternoon on the Ray-Ban Desert Oasis stage, diehard diggers and back-to-back masters Berlin-based duo The Ghost, and selector Gene on Earth, get together as Coast2Coast to take over the desert stage for an extended set – the only kind they like playing.
Sunday’s highlight will be an extraordinary showcase by Moe and Poly-Ritmo, bringing sun-soaked house vibes, and closing with a special set by a surprise guest. Through his productions, DJ sets and record labels, Midland’s output comes across as unassuming and surprising in equal measure, at once subtle, refined and totally raucous – which he will present with a 5-hour set at Magnetic Fields on Sunday night to close the festival.
For those seeking unforgettable music moments, the Ray-Ban zones at Magnetic Fields Festival are the places to be!
Ray-Ban Afterparty
In 2024, the pioneering UK dubstep label Hyperdub celebrates its 20th anniversary with a special showcase at Magnetic Fields. Originally launched in 1999 by Steve Goodman, known as Kode9, as a webzine, Hyperdub has been at the forefront of electronic music since becoming a record label in 2004. Over the years, it has been home to iconic and innovative producers such as Burial, DJ Rashad, Scratch a DVA, and Ikonika.
To mark this milestone, label founder and producer Kode9 will perform alongside Scratchclart (formerly Scratcha DVA), one of Hyperdub’s regulars, for a secret Ray-Ban party on Friday night. This will undoubtedly be one of the key highlights of the weekend and a party one wouldn’t want to miss!
