Guneet Monga Kapoor, the visionary producer behind the series, shares her personal insights on long-distance relationships and her passion for filmmaking. Reflecting on her journey since marrying her husband Sunny in late 2022, Guneet says, “With my husband and family in Delhi, and work and meetings in Mumbai, the last two years of my life have definitely seen more mileage in terms of air travel! But at the end of the day, the anxiety, the distance, the waiting—it’s all secondary to the butterflies you feel in your stomach when a reunion approaches. The person at the other end of the phone calls and texts that one who stands by you no matter what, that’s my Sunny!”
Guneet also emphasizes the importance of embracing diverse storytelling, stating, “As a producer, it’s essential to have a deep passion for the art of filmmaking. The best part about this job is working with fresh voices that offer unique perspectives on storytelling. This year, with Saqib Pandor, we continued the exploration of Ritu and Anuj’s journey, diving into the complexities of adolescence and teenage love.
