India, 22nd October, 2024: TBO a leading global travel distribution platform, is proud to announce that its CSR initiative, ‘TBO Cares- Eyecare initiative’, has received the prestigious Magellan Award 2024 securing Gold in the ‘Travel Services’ – Overall-Giving Back Initiative’ category . The Magellan Awards, presented by Travel Weekly, honours the best in the travel industry, recognizing excellence in design, marketing and services across segments such as Hospitality, travel Destinations, Airlines, Cruise Lines and Tour Operators. TBO’s ‘Eyecare Initiative reflects its commitment to improving the well-being of its customers – travel bookers by addressing the eye health challenges faced who spend long hours in front of screens.

By this initiative, TBO embraces and demonstrates its core value of Care. This commitment witnessed a global awareness campaign on eyecare tips across all its marketing channels along with Eye screening camps at Travel Agent offices and on-ground events hosted for top Travel Agents including prime space for eye check-ups at the 2024 Arabian Travel Mart, one of the largest travel trade shows globally, as well as at the recent TBO Academy travel Business Show in Dubai. Through these efforts, the campaign’s reach and effectiveness have been significantly boosted through social media amplification, resulting in heightened visibility and engagement.
