New Delhi, 19th October, 2024: QNu Labs, a global leader in quantum-safe cryptography that offers unconditional data security, unveiled its cutting-edge quantum security solutions at the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) 2024, held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from 15-18 October. The firm, in conjunction with India’s National Quantum Mission (NQM), Technology Development Board (TDB), and the Department of Science and Technology (DST), showcased its advanced solutions aimed at safeguarding data across enterprise networks, internet and cloud infrastructures.
QNu Labs employs a hybrid technology approach that integrates quantum cryptography and post-quantum cryptography (PQC), ensuring robust security for sensitive data against current and future threats. This model facilitates seamless integration with existing systems, allowing businesses to transition to quantum-safe solutions with minimal disruption.
At IMC, QNu Labs showcased India’s capability of achieving End to End quantum security with its three solutions
1. Free Space QKD supporting up to 3Kms for last mile secure communication for terrains where optical fibres can’t be laid
2. Long-distance QKD network for unlimited distances and capability to manage and control 100s of QKD nodes.
3. Quantum secure HSM (QHSM) for the security of data at rest.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Sunil Gupta of QNu Labs, said, “In today’s increasingly digital world, where the digital trust is rapidly diminishing, the need for robust encryption mechanisms to protect both individual users and organisations has never been greater. For one of the fastest-growing economies like India, the need to shield the country’s critical digital infrastructure from emerging cyber threats is imperative. This is where our hybrid technology-based solutions are being adopted by clients to embrace the ultra-secure solution to protect their crown jewels at an affordable price with no disruption to their business.
“Our unique “Make in India” solutions are already being deployed by the government and defence reinforcing the nation’s requirement and readiness for advance cybersecurity capabilities. However, for the successful deployment of advanced quantum technologies, it is essential to have supportive policies and active government intervention as cybersecurity is always a race against time. We, at QNu Labs, remain committed to supporting India and its citizens in their data security journey on the back of our next-gen solutions,” he added.
The company’s offerings are fully aligned with the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a self-reliant and digitally secure India by 2047. With a suite of quantum-based solutions, the company is well-positioned to contribute to the secure future of India’s digital landscape.
